Like pretty much everyone else, I changed my facebook to German. Surprisingly, a lot of the words I saw were similar to their English equivalents, such as notizen, fotos, and profil. I even figured out that kennen is the verb for "to know". As it turns out, some of my friends have even posted things in German. I think reading on a website like facebook in German is much more beneficial than I initially thought. It exposed me to reading things that I might find in my book. It is clearly a great way get into reading in German.
