Walking in Germany is a contact sport. That's the first thing I'd want to know before traveling to Germany. I honestly want to study abroad there, but a statement like that turns me off to the idea. I mean, getting caned off a subway seat by a grandma or getting knocked around in the street doesn't sound very appealing to me.
I don't quite understand why cleaning ladies are still around in Germany's bathrooms, but I would have expected a relic that to be long gone. Not only do we have self-cleaning toilets now, buut the Klofrauen are expensive. I would never willing just give up a euro because I had to take a leak.
