AMD 2 Matthew Schaefer

I kind of cheated and just did the first idea in the AMD list. A kid who lives a floor above me speaks fluent German so we went to lunch one day and I *attempted* to speak German for our whole lunch. We just talked about things that I could actually say, which isn't a whole lot. But I tried my best, and now every time I see him, we talk at least a little in German. It's nice to have someone close by who is fluent and can correct my grammar and give me pointers now and then. And through the fact that we both have an interest in German, we've ended up hanging out a couple of times since we first went to lunch.
