I read the wikipedia article on Denglisch. Basically, it said Denglisch is the use of English vocabulary in German. The words taken from English are "Germanized", meaning they are made to fit German grammar. Z.b. "downloaded" becomes gedownloadetor downgeloadet, reboot becomes rebooten, etc. Apparently, Germans are so influenced by English speakers that they even bed the rules of grammar to add in English! In the the example wikipedia had, the word "in" was used where it should have been "im Jahre" or nothing at all. Also, no one even seems to bother with full translations from English to German any more. Things like menus of global fast-food restraunts and movies may be completely untranslated in Germany! It seems to me like the Germans would much rather speak English.
